Class Descriptions

  • Chair Yoga – suitable for those who cannot or do not want to get up & down from the floor. Chair-based yoga class with some optional standing poses. All poses can be modified to work at a level that suits you. Improve your mobility, posture, muscle tone & overall wellbeing. Class also includes breathing & relaxation techniques & finishes with a relaxation.
  • Gentle Yoga – suitable for all ages & abilities. Ideal for beginners. Take time-out to tune into yourself with gentle breathing & stretching exercises. Improve mobility, flexibility, posture, muscle tone & overall wellbeing. Learn techniques to relax & manage stress. Class finishes with a relaxation.
  • Yoga for Vitality & Inner Peace 1 (Improvers Yoga) – a stronger, more challenging class for those who want to expand their yoga practice. Connecting with the true self through strong breath & posture work. Building strength, flexibility & finding a sense of inner peace. Class includes breath work, postures & relaxation.
  • Yoga for Vitality & Inner Peace 2 (Strong Yoga) – following on from Yoga for Vitality & Inner Peace 1 - suitable for those with a good level of fitness & some experience of yoga. Continue to build strength, stamina, flexibility & self-knowledge with this challenging & fun class. Class includes breath work, toga postures & relaxation.
