What is Group Analytic Therapy?
Group Analytic therapy offers a powerful experience of personal discovery and healing. It is based on the view that deep and lasting change is possible at any stage of life and by attendance over a period of time much can be achieved. In the group setting members can explore their difficulties in an atmosphere of honesty, respect, trust and confidentiality. It will suit individuals who feel confused, anxious or depressed or those who have problems at home, at work or in their family. Although the group provides a shared experience of growth and change each individual comes to the group for different reasons and is invited to work at his or her own pace.

Joining the Group
Initially you can have an informal conversation to see if a group might suit what you are looking for. Then you can meet the conductor for exploratory individual sessions to learn more about group as well as establish if the group will meet your needs at this time. This consultation process also provides the opportunity to prepare for joining the group. The group will meet with up to eight members on a weekly basis for one and an half hours. Confidentiality is very important. It is a stranger group where members will not have known each other previously.
Holidays will be taken at Christmas, Easter and for a month during the summer.
