An 8-week programme for those who want to develop a regular mindfulness practice
The Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Programme is world renowned and was developed almost 35 years ago by Jon Kabat-Zinn at the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Boston.
The Programme is evidence based and designed to develop skills for healthy emotional, mental and physical well-being and to support integrating Mindfulness into daily life to help reduce stress and deal with anxiety more effectively. With MBSR we learn to identify the causes of stress and to make wise choices in order to live in a more positive and peaceful way.
This Programme has benefited countless thousands of people worldwide living with chronic pain, serious illness, in recovery from serious illness, depression and addiction as well as supporting us through the many challenges of life in the 21st century.
